Why switch business energy supplier?
The number one reason – cost. Many businesses believe they have little or no choice in their commercial energy supplier. However, there are many choices available to businesses these days, and the energyhelpline business team could help you save up to 70% on your energy bills.
When can I switch business energy supplier?
Commercial energy supplies generally come under a contract, which will automatically renew each year. If you want to change supplier, you need to give your current supplier a minimum of four weeks' notice. For more details see the ‘What do I need to do to change supplier?’ section below. However, if you are new to the premises then you won't automatically be placed in a contract, so you are free to find a new contract when you wish. We recommend that you do this as soon as possible because most suppliers charge high "out of contract" rates If you are not sure of your business energy contract status please contact our team and we can assist you - 0800 068 5222
How much does it cost to switch business energy supplier?
Our service is provided completely free of charge to clients. For each contract that we arrange with business energy suppliers, we earn a fee from the selected supplier. What's more, because we work with a range of suppliers, we often have access to better rates than those you may get by going direct, because they know they have to offer competitive rates to win your business.
How do I know that this is the best deal for me?
We work with the major commercial energy suppliers, meaning that in some cases the rates we have specially negotiated special with suppliers and are exclusive to our company – often up to 10% cheaper than what suppliers offer direct.
What do I need to do to change supplier?
After you've spoken to us, the only thing you need to do is give termination notice to your current business energy supplier in writing, but don't worry - we've created templates of the letters – our energy advisor will assist you in the process. Giving sufficient termination notice will allow you to leave your contract. Then all you need to do is sign the contract with your new supplier, and we will do the rest.
